Brewer – Operations Planning & Budgeting

About the role

We are seeking a Brewer to lead operations planning and budgeting for our brewery. The role involves translating corporate forecasts into detailed production schedules, ensuring alignment with volume, quality and cost targets, and coordinating closely with sales and supply teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop monthly and weekly production plans based on corporate forecasts and sales insights.
• Prepare and finalize the brewery budget, collaborating with the CSCO for corporate approval.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging, utilities, logistics and manpower, optimizing resource utilization.
• Monitor procurement, quality of malt, adjuncts and yeasts, and manage inventory and reuse processes.
• Oversee brewing, bottling and dispatch operations to meet quality standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate dispatch planning with sales, track daily performance against targets and resolve inefficiencies.
• Lead daily operational reviews, KPI reporting and corrective action implementation.
• Conduct quality tests, sensory evaluations and product trials, analysing results and reporting insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brewery or beverage production operations.
• Strong analytical skills for budgeting, forecasting and KPI monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage resource constraints.
• Attention to detail in quality control and compliance.
