Brand Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Brand Planner to bridge research, culture, human behaviour, data and brand communication. The role is ideal for early‑career professionals who think critically about people and markets, and can translate insights into strategic recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Research categories, brands, consumers, markets and cultural behaviours.
• Conduct secondary research using reports, academic papers, archives, news and databases.
• Design and analyse primary research such as interviews, surveys and conversations.
• Work with both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover patterns.
• Build consumer, cultural and category insights to inform brand strategy.
• Transform large volumes of research into clear, actionable insights and presentations.
• Leverage AI and research tools to accelerate work while ensuring evidence quality.
• Support the development of research systems, knowledge libraries and cultural intelligence tools.

Required profile

• Curious about people, culture and business, with a habit of digging deeper than obvious answers.
• Comfortable handling numbers, datasets, surveys and spreadsheets.
• Able to distinguish observation, assumption and evidence.
• Skilled at connecting dots across culture, behaviour, business and communication.
• Clear writer who can explain complex ideas simply.
• Confident in challenging obvious answers when evidence suggests otherwise.
