Branch Operations Manager

About the role

The Branch Operations Manager will lead day‑to‑day branch activities focused on the processing and disbursement of home loans. The role ensures regulatory compliance, timely loan closures, and high customer satisfaction while managing escalations and delinquency proactively.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and administration related to home‑loan disbursement.
• Ensure loan closures are completed on schedule, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
• Address customer escalations and delinquency cases promptly and proactively.
• Maintain branch performance metrics, aiming for zero escalations and minimal delinquencies, and report results to the zonal head.
• Collaborate closely with Credit and Collections teams to streamline disbursement and post‑disbursement processes.
• Evaluate, report, and recommend improvements to branch‑level processes.
• Manage internal and external audits, implementing corrective actions based on findings.
• Handle bounce‑check data, data submissions, and ensure accurate transaction authorisations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in branch operations within the housing‑finance or banking sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for loan processing.
• Ability to monitor and improve performance metrics.
• Excellent coordination skills with credit, collections, and risk teams.
• Experience managing audits and implementing corrective actions.
