Branch Manager – Retail Gold Loans (Kota)

About the role

The Branch Manager – Retail Gold Loans will lead the Kota branch of Aditya Birla Capital Limited, driving business performance while ensuring strict compliance with RBI regulations. You will be responsible for delivering a superior customer experience, maintaining portfolio quality, and achieving key disbursement and collection targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch‑level business performance across disbursement, new customer acquisition, yield, audit, collections and risk KPIs.
• Build and nurture relationships with local customers, partners, authorities and community influencers to boost acquisition.
• Lead and supervise branch staff including Assistant Branch Manager, Gold Valuer, Gold Loan Officer and Customer Service Executives, ensuring productivity and performance management.
• Oversee accurate gold valuation, loan structuring within LTV norms and proper documentation for new and renewal transactions.
• Ensure strict adherence to RBI norms, internal policies, risk processes, purity testing and audit standards.
• Monitor portfolio health – delinquencies, yield, tonnage, auction ratios, spurious/bentex cases and overall branch growth metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a retail gold loan branch or similar NBFC operation.
• Strong understanding of RBI guidelines and internal compliance frameworks for gold loans.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve disbursement, collection and yield targets.
• Leadership experience supervising a multi‑disciplinary team.
