About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Branch Manager to lead our Direct Sales operations in Gorakhpur. You will be responsible for expanding our footprint in the health insurance market, especially targeting SMEs and start‑ups, and driving revenue through tailored solutions and strong channel partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and capture new business opportunities within the SME and start‑up segments.
- Develop and promote customized health‑insurance solutions that meet the specific needs of diverse client groups.
- Build and nurture relationships with channel partners across the region to increase market reach.
- Lead a sales team, set targets, monitor performance and provide coaching to achieve sales goals.
- Collaborate with product and wellness teams to integrate incentivized wellness programs and chronic‑care management offerings.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies.
Required profile
- Proven experience in direct sales or branch management, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Strong understanding of the Indian health‑insurance landscape and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Leadership capability to motivate and manage a sales team.
- Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
