About the role
We are seeking a diligent Branch Accountant to join our finance team in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting entries and maintain accurate records.
- Manage TDS, GST, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Prepare and update AR/AP outstanding reports.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly branch MIS reports.
- Post vendor invoices and allocate direct and indirect costs using Tally.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of all accounts.
- Maintain compliance with accounting policies, GST, TDS and other statutory regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of TDS rates, exemptions and compliance.
- Good understanding of GST rates, applicability and related accounting requirements.
- Ability to prepare accurate MIS reports and perform bank reconciliations.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Tally accounting software.
- Hands‑on experience with GST and TDS compliance.
