Bookkeeper – Canadian Real Estate (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support a growing Canadian real‑estate company. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work from Patiala while collaborating with the Canadian team on day‑to‑day accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Record and reconcile bank and credit‑card transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Process invoices, expenses, and vendor payments.
• Maintain accurate records for real‑estate transactions.
• Assist with GST/HST and other Canadian tax requirements.
• Coordinate with accountants and management as needed.
• Ensure books are accurate, organized, and up to date.

Required profile

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Proven experience with a Canadian company; Canadian real‑estate experience is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and GST/HST.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
