About the role
The Blood Bank Technician will join Yashoda Hospital’s blood bank in Ghaziabad, working full‑time on‑site to ensure safe and accurate blood processing for patients.
Key responsibilities
- Perform blood compatibility and other diagnostic tests following standard laboratory protocols.
- Label, store, and manage blood samples with strict adherence to safety and sterilisation guidelines.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Document test results accurately and communicate findings to the medical team.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support efficient blood bank operations.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to blood banking.
- Experience with venipuncture and laboratory procedures (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
