BIM Modeller – 3D Modeling for Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The BIM Modeller is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D models using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software. This role supports design, engineering, and construction teams by ensuring accurate model creation, clash detection, and documentation in line with project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Prepare detailed drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Coordinate with design engineers and consultants to ensure model accuracy and completeness.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Ensure compliance with the project BIM Execution Plan and company BIM standards.
• Update models based on design revisions and site feedback.
• Extract quantities and generate reports from BIM models.
• Maintain proper file management and version control as per project protocols.
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide model‑based inputs.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably on Metro, Railway, infrastructure or high‑rise building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing standards.
