BIM Designer – ELV Systems

About the role

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team in Gurugram is seeking an experienced BIM Designer specialized in ELV systems. You will create and coordinate detailed BIM models for large‑scale buildings and technically complex environments such as data centres, hospitals and sports arenas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ELV BIM models in Autodesk Revit according to project BIM standards and LOD requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and design intent to produce accurate BIM geometry, layouts, schematics and documentation.
• Coordinate ELV systems with Electrical, HVAC, Architectural and Structural disciplines and perform clash detection using Navisworks and Revizto.
• Conduct regular model quality checks, incorporate design changes, and support multidisciplinary coordination during design development and critical submission stages.
• Guide junior modelers and communicate modelling issues to BIM leads.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of ELV BIM modelling and coordination experience, preferably on data centre, healthcare or sports arena projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT or related engineering discipline.
• Proven ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for ELV modelling.
• Clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Issue management with Revizto.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar CDE platforms.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
