BIM Architect for Data Center Projects

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a BIM Architect to lead the development and coordination of architectural BIM models for data‑center and mission‑critical projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate design concepts into detailed construction documentation while ensuring compliance with project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage architectural BIM models for data‑center projects.
• Prepare design drawings, construction documents, and detailed architectural deliverables.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines within the BIM environment.
• Perform clash detection and design coordination using BIM tools.
• Maintain BIM standards, workflows, and quality‑control processes.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve design issues.

Required profile

• B.Arch degree from a recognized institution.
• 6+ years of experience in architectural design and BIM modeling.
• Experience in data‑center design projects is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary project environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of BIM workflows and clash detection.
