Billing Engineer – Civil & Interior Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Billing Engineer with strong knowledge of civil and interior billing procedures to support our corporate office fit‑out projects. The role involves preparing and verifying client and subcontractor bills, performing quantity take‑offs and ensuring accurate commercial documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare client and subcontractor bills for civil and interior works in line with approved drawings, BOQs, work orders and contract terms.
• Verify quantities executed on site through physical measurements and approved documentation.
• Perform BOQ preparation, quantity take‑offs, rate analysis and measurement standard checks.
• Interpret architectural, interior, structural and related service drawings.
• Manage multiple project billings simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy.
• Ensure precise documentation of measurements, commercial data and contract administration.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification; a Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Relevant experience in interior fit‑out billing is preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with quantity estimation/billing software.
• Good knowledge of civil construction, interior fit‑out works, materials, specifications and installation methods.
• Understanding of flooring, partitions, false ceilings, painting, civil finishes, joinery, doors and wall finishes.
