About the role
IDFC FIRST Bank is looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Bank Teller to join our Ratlam branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling everyday banking transactions while delivering a friendly and professional service experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer queries and provide assistance in a courteous manner.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments and other routine banking transactions accurately.
- Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift and maintain precise transaction records.
- Promote bank products and services, identifying opportunities to meet customer needs.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Follow all bank policies, procedures and security protocols to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with branch staff to achieve daily targets and overall branch goals.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work full‑time, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to undergo background and credit checks.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
