Bakery Commis – Full‑Time Position

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Bakery Commis in Jaipur, supporting the culinary team in delivering high‑quality baked goods and menu items. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on food preparation, quality control, and seamless kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, cold foods, and bakery items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; pull and thaw frozen items as needed.
• Maintain food logs, ensure proper portioning, garnish, and overall food quality.
• Communicate with chefs and service staff about specials, excess inventory, and out‑of‑stock items.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies; report maintenance issues and unsafe conditions.
• Uphold professional uniform standards and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school education.
• Minimum three years of relevant bakery or food‑service experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
