About the role

The Donut Affair is seeking a motivated Bakery Assistant to join its team in South Goa. This full‑time, on‑site role supports the daily creation of artisanal donuts, ensuring high standards of flavor, texture, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily donut preparation, including measuring and mixing ingredients.
• Apply glazes, decorate products, and maintain consistent presentation.
• Keep the kitchen and service areas clean and organized.
• Stock supplies, arrange display cases, and support the baking team during peak periods.
• Perform opening or closing tasks as required and provide basic customer service, answering product questions and helping with order packaging.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail for ingredient measurement and product consistency.
• Good time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate loads.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and uphold quality standards.
