Backend Engineer (Python/Django, AWS, Docker)

About the role

Nat Habit is building a disruptive personal‑care platform and needs a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable services that power both internal tools and customer‑facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend solutions using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
• Develop and expose RESTful APIs for frontend integration and third‑party services.
• Create data APIs and delivery services for operational and analytical use cases.
• Design efficient data models and manage PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
• Write unit tests, debug issues, and ensure application reliability.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and containerize applications with Docker.
• Deploy services on AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS) and optimize performance across the stack.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Full‑stack or Backend Developer.
• Hands‑on experience with Python web frameworks (Django, FastAPI).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and AWS deployment models.
