Backend Developer (Node.js / PHP / Python)

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Developer with 3–5 years of experience to design and build scalable, secure web applications. The role involves working with Node.js, PHP (Laravel) or Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask) to deliver high‑performance APIs and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
• Design, tune and manage MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Redis data stores.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Debug, troubleshoot and optimise application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold clean‑code standards.
• Contribute to architecture and system design discussions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to write maintainable code.
• Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Node.js (Express or NestJS), PHP (Laravel) or Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask).
• Building REST APIs and integrating third‑party services.
• Authentication/authorization concepts (JWT, OAuth).
• Database design and optimisation with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Redis.
• Version control with Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Basic Linux command‑line knowledge.
