Babysitter – Child Care Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable babysitter to provide safe, caring, and responsible supervision for children in the absence of parents. The role involves managing daily routines, ensuring children’s well‑being, and maintaining a clean environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide constant supervision to ensure child safety and respond promptly to their needs.
• Manage daily routines including meals, naps, bedtime, and play activities.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and handle basic personal care such as diaper changes.
• Organise age‑appropriate games, crafts, learning activities, and outdoor play.
• Assist with homework and daily tasks when required.
• Maintain a clean and hazard‑free environment in children’s rooms, play areas, kitchen, and dining spaces.
• Perform light housekeeping related to children’s areas.
• Respond calmly in emergencies, provide basic first aid, and inform parents or emergency services as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to supervise children safely and attentively.
• Willingness to follow parents’ instructions and daily schedules.
• Capability to manage meals, nap times, and bedtime routines.
• Calm and composed demeanor during emergencies, with basic first‑aid knowledge.
• Commitment to maintaining a tidy and safe environment for children.
