Azure Stack HCI Engineer

About the role

The Azure Stack HCI Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain uvation's hybrid cloud environment built on Microsoft Azure Stack HCI. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure a reliable, secure, and high‑performing infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and support Azure Stack HCI clusters, virtual machines, storage, and networking.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce security and compliance standards, including access controls, firewalls, and encryption.
• Oversee backup and disaster‑recovery processes, regularly testing and validating recovery procedures.
• Document configurations, procedures, and changes; maintain performance logs.
• Provide technical guidance to other IT teams and collaborate on cross‑functional infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering, preferably with Azure Stack HCI.
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Stack HCI are highly desirable.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
