AWS Databricks Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Databricks and Python to join our teams across major Indian locations. The role involves designing, building and optimizing data solutions that support business objectives while ensuring cost‑effectiveness and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative data pipelines and analytics solutions using Databricks on AWS.
• Optimize resource utilization and manage costs across cloud environments.
• Develop robust, secure and high‑performance data architectures that align with corporate standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and quickly adopt new tools as business needs evolve.
• Lead and mentor a team focused on operational excellence, building reusable tools and capabilities for development teams.

Required profile

• Proven ability to break complex problems into manageable components and deliver timely solutions.
• Strong decision‑making skills, distinguishing root problems from symptoms.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
• Clear understanding of corporate objectives, practices and procedures.
