AVP Penetration Tester – Cyber Security

About the role

ANZ is looking for an Assistant Vice President Penetration Tester to lead its cyber‑security testing efforts across the enterprise. Based in Bengaluru, you will work in a hybrid model within the Tech GCS Cyber Security Risk Division, helping protect the bank’s systems, services and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and execute penetration testing activities across ANZ’s enterprise environments.
• Identify vulnerabilities in complex systems and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Shape and evolve penetration testing standards, policies, QA processes and operating models.
• Define risk‑based testing strategies aligned with the evolving threat landscape and business priorities.
• Engage senior leaders and executives to communicate outcomes, assurance and residual risk.
• Assess internal capabilities and external providers to ensure quality and value.
• Drive continual improvement and innovation in penetration testing practices.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise security, with a focus on penetration testing.
• Proven ability to lead testing strategy, execution integrity and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership and convey technical findings.
• Experience working in a large, regulated financial services environment is preferred.
