Avionics Software Integrator/Verification

About the role

Join a leading aerospace engineering team to drive integration, verification and validation of safety‑critical real‑time embedded software for avionics. You will work with DO‑178B/C standards to ensure high‑integrity software meets stringent certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define, document and execute a comprehensive Software Verification Strategy and Test Plan aligned with DO‑178B/C objectives.
• Integrate complex software components, manage builds and maintain configuration control across lifecycle baselines.
• Design, configure and maintain advanced test rigs, including Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL), Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL) and simulated test benches.
• Author, review and run high‑level and low‑level test cases covering functional, performance, boundary and robustness testing.
• Perform structural coverage analysis (MC/DC, statement, decision) to verify complete requirement coverage.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and debugging of issues discovered during integration or stakeholder testing.
• Implement test automation frameworks and continuous integration pipelines to improve verification efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best verification practices across global sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in avionics software verification and integration.
• Hands‑on expertise with DO‑178B/C guidelines for Design Assurance Levels A, B and C.
• Strong knowledge of configuration and change management processes in safety‑critical domains.
