AutoCAD Draughtsman (On-site) – Mumbai

About the role

We are looking for an AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our Mumbai team on-site. The role combines detailed drafting with project planning, supporting engineering and construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, timelines and milestones using MS Project and MS Office.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and propose corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and maintain project reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, surveys and client meetings as needed.
• Create, review and update technical drawings, blueprints, datasheets and schematics in AutoCAD.
• Modify designs based on project changes and client feedback while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety codes.
• Coordinate with site engineers, architects and project managers to resolve design-related issues during execution.
• Participate in regular project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in planning, drafting or a similar role.
• AutoCAD certification and proven proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations and regulatory compliance.
