Auditor – Audit & Controls

About the role

The Auditor, Audit & Controls will execute audit assignments and investigations under the direction of Internal Audit management. Based in Gurgaon, you will work closely with Gartner’s global Internal Audit team to provide insights into risk, control, and governance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support team management in scoping and executing comprehensive audits of financial, operational, and compliance areas, adhering to the annual audit plan.
• Identify, assess, and document risks and controls within business processes, offering improvement recommendations.
• Engage with stakeholders to test and assess company processes and internal controls.
• Prepare and present concise audit reports to senior management, highlighting findings and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide to drive process improvements and enhance risk management.
• Stay current on industry best practices, emerging risks, and regulatory changes, integrating them into audit strategies.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related field; Big Four experience is a plus.
• Experience in scoping and executing internal audit work programs.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and governance principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (CIA, CISA, CA, CPA, CFE) highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high‑quality work.
