Audit Manager – Lead Statutory & Internal Audits

About the role

The Audit Manager will lead statutory, internal and special audit engagements for a diverse client base. Based in Hyderabad, this full‑time, on‑site position involves planning audit scope, designing procedures, supervising fieldwork and delivering concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on financial audit engagements, ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and auditing standards.
• Supervise audit teams, coordinate with clients to obtain necessary information, and monitor timelines and quality of deliverables.
• Review financial statements, working papers and audit documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Support risk assessments, strengthen internal controls and contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices across the firm.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CA or equivalent; additional audit or risk‑management certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience managing audit teams and delivering audit engagements in a professional services or corporate audit environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, IND‑AS, taxation and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
