Audit Assistant – Inventory & Stock Management

About the role

The Audit Assistant will support Chemist Box Private Limited in maintaining accurate inventory records across multiple locations in Bihar. You will play a key role in verifying stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and contributing to loss‑prevention initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute periodic physical and system‑based inventory audits at various sites.
• Conduct regular stock counts, including cycle counts and ad‑hoc audits.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, shrinkage, and slow‑moving inventory.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal availability and minimize losses.
• Prepare inventory reports and management information systems (MIS) dashboards for senior management.
• Support continuous improvement of inventory control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Commerce or a related field (BBA, B.Com, B.Sc in Mathematics preferred).
• Minimum one year of experience in retail loss prevention or inventory audit (fresh B.Com graduates may also apply).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good mathematical aptitude.
