ASW Algorithm Software Developer – VM Brakes

About the role

We are looking for an experienced software developer to design and implement embedded control algorithms for vehicle brake systems. The role focuses on improving braking performance through advanced sensor data analysis and vehicle dynamics modeling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement embedded control algorithms for automotive brake systems.
• Analyze sensor data and vehicle dynamics to optimize braking performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and test engineers to integrate and validate software.
• Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Support calibration and tuning of brake control algorithms.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in embedded software development for automotive applications.
• Knowledge of automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).

Required skills

• Strong programming in C/C++.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for model‑based development.
• Experience with embedded systems and real‑time software.
• Familiarity with vehicle dynamics and control theory.
• Understanding of functional safety concepts.
