Associate – Utility Transformation – Advisory (Gurugram)

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate in Utility Transformation within its Advisory practice in Gurugram. The role combines consulting expertise with hands‑on software development to help utility clients turn data into actionable insights and drive sustainable change.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize web‑based applications that support client reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with clients to interpret field data, identify linkages, and prepare monthly, bi‑monthly or quarterly reports.
• Analyse large data sets, ensure data quality, and translate findings into business‑focused recommendations.
• Support the delivery of Managed Services and advisory solutions for utility sector projects.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of experience in software development or IT‑focused data analytics.
• Minimum B.E./B.Tech./MCA/MTech or equivalent engineering/IT degree.
• Positive attitude, strong analytical mindset, willingness to learn and work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Application development using Java and JSP.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Experience with web‑based solutions, MIS or database‑centric projects is preferred.
