Associate System Engineer – SAP PP/PPDS

About the role

We are looking for an Associate System Engineer specialized in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS). The role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA (or ECC) PP/DS solutions for an aircraft manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP PP/DS settings, including Planning Boards, Alert Monitors, and deployment processes.
• Integrate PP/DS with SAP IBP, SAP APO, SAP MM, and SAP SD to ensure seamless data flow.
• Analyze business requirements and design SAP S/4HANA MPS solutions that meet production planning goals.
• Support incident, problem, and change management activities for SAP applications.
• Collaborate with the in‑house business team to gather requirements, follow governance standards, and deliver solutions on time.

Required profile

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP PP and PPDS modules, including BOM, production versions, work centers, routings, and planning cycles.
• Experience in project and application support services, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace setting.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data tables and develop SAP queries or reports.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and a collaborative, multi‑functional team environment.
