Associate Student Counsel

About the role

The university is seeking qualified candidates for senior academic positions at the Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor levels. Successful applicants will join a vibrant teaching and research community, contributing to curriculum development, scholarly output, and student mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, labs, and seminars.
• Conduct original research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and secure research funding.
• Supervise graduate students, including guiding Ph.D. candidates to completion.
• Participate in departmental committees, curriculum design, and accreditation activities.
• Engage with industry partners for collaborative projects, consultancy, and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a First Class or equivalent degree at Bachelors/Masters level.
• Minimum 8–10 years of combined teaching, research, and/or industry experience, including at least 2–3 years at the appropriate academic rank.
• Evidence of scholarly productivity: 7–10+ publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE‑approved journals and a research score of at least 75–120.
• Successful supervision of at least two doctoral candidates (for senior ranks).
• For industry candidates: equivalent professional experience at senior managerial level and a record of high‑quality publications, patents, or consultancy reports.
