Associate - Security Specialist

About the role

As an Associate Security Specialist at JPMorgan Chase, you will join a dedicated team that safeguards employees, assets, operations and the firm’s reputation. Based in Bengaluru, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure business resilience, incident response, physical security, safe travel and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate security activities across all Bengaluru sites, ensuring staff, visitors and vendors comply with security procedures.
• Identify vulnerabilities, assess threat likelihood and implement fit‑for‑purpose security services, including perimeter protection, access control, video surveillance and alarm monitoring.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate security personnel; manage performance and engagement.
• Investigate and remediate security breaches using process‑driven and technology‑based solutions.
• Develop, test and rehearse site‑specific emergency response plans in collaboration with business units.
• Conduct proactive security audits, surprise penetrative testing and report incidents into the security database.
• Provide executive protection and support JP Morgan transport travel security requirements.

Required profile

• University degree required; advanced degree desirable.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in diverse security environments.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role and 3 years in an operational/site‑based role.
• Strong organizational, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven capability in people management, employee engagement and performance management.
