Associate - Public Relations (Social Impact)

About the role

Weber Shandwick is seeking an Associate in Public Relations with a focus on Social Impact. The role supports client projects, helps identify issues, and contributes to content‑driven communications for healthcare and social impact clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support client projects and deliverables.
• Proactively identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Maintain systems and tools to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Create status reports, call and meeting recaps for clients and internal teams.
• Understand how client deliverables impact business objectives.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency setting handling healthcare or social impact clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, Journalism, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities, including research, organization of findings and clear communication.
• Strong networking, coordination and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of digital platforms, tools and solutions.
• Familiarity with basic agency capabilities and service offerings.
