Associate Project Management – IGT Social Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Project Management Unit (PMU) supporting a central government initiative in New Delhi. The role focuses on delivering social sustainability advisory services and managing technical textiles projects within the IGT‑Social practice.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client needs and develop strategies to enhance social impact and sustainability.
• Lead technical textiles workstreams, covering sub‑segments such as Meditech, Agrotech, Geotech, Buildtech and others.
• Coordinate with government bodies, industry associations and research partners to ensure project alignment.
• Prepare and present reports, recommendations and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Support the broader advisory team in integrating ESG considerations into client operations.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Textile Technology or a Bachelor’s in Fashion Technology (mandatory).
• M.Tech in Textiles or MBA from a recognised institute (mandatory).
• 3‑6 years of experience in the technical textiles industry, with at least 3 years in a relevant sub‑segment.
• Prior exposure to government‑funded projects or industry bodies is desirable.
• Specialisation in technical textiles, non‑wovens, composites or allied application areas is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of technical textiles and related sub‑segments (e.g., Meditech, Agrotech, Geotech, Buildtech, Mobiltech, Protech, Indutech, Sportech, Packtech, Hometech, Clothtech, Oekotech).
