Associate Professor – Management (MBA)

About the role

Dayananda Sagar University seeks an Associate Professor in Management (MBA) to deliver high‑quality teaching, drive research, and provide academic leadership in line with UGC and NBA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Teach core and elective MBA courses such as Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, and Analytics, using case‑based, experiential, and digital pedagogies.
• Develop and update curriculum content aligned with Outcome‑Based Education (OBE) principles and NBA compliance.
• Conduct and publish research in UGC‑CARE, Scopus, or ABDC indexed journals; apply for funded projects and present at conferences.
• Guide MBA dissertations and, where applicable, Ph.D. scholars.
• Mentor students for academic and career development, supervise internships and industry projects, and support placement activities.
• Build industry linkages, organize guest lectures, workshops, and consultancy assignments.
• Participate in academic committees, accreditation processes, and institutional quality‑assurance initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Management or a related discipline (mandatory).
• Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM) with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum 8 years of combined teaching, research, or industry experience, including at least 2 years as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale or equivalent).
• Consistent academic record and evidence of scholarly publications.
