Associate Professor – Computer Networks

About the role

Rishihood University is seeking a dedicated academic leader to join its faculty as an Associate Professor in Computer Networks. The position involves teaching, curriculum design, mentorship, and research in a forward‑looking technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Networks, Operating Systems, and Systems Engineering.
• Design and continuously improve curricula, labs, assignments, and assessments aligned with industry standards.
• Lead classroom, laboratory, and project‑based learning initiatives, incorporating case studies and simulations.
• Mentor and guide instructors, teaching assistants, and subject‑matter experts to ensure consistent course quality.
• Support student internships, placements, research opportunities, and track academic progress.
• Contribute to research publications, conferences, and institutional academic planning.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Networks, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in academia, teaching, training, or mentoring.
• Prior experience as Assistant/Associate Professor, Faculty Lead, or Technical Trainer preferred.
• Eligibility as per UGC/AICTE norms is a plus.
