Associate – Production (Pharma Formulation OSD)

About the role

The Associate – Production will work on the shop‑floor of the Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing unit, handling granulation, compression, coating and encapsulation processes. The role involves executing batch manufacturing activities under supervision while ensuring compliance with GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture and process batches of assigned products according to the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).
• Handle receipt, movement, and storage of raw material, bulk, semi‑finished and finished goods.
• Operate, wash and clean equipment and accessories as per SOPs.
• Perform in‑process checks, record results, and maintain documentation.
• Maintain area and machines in line with GMP requirements.
• Support Quality Management Systems by reporting discrepancies, non‑conformances and incidents.
• Ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and instruments.
• Conduct line clearance activities during batch‑to‑batch and product‑to‑product changeovers.
• Manage issuance, retrieval and destruction of dies, punches, product‑specific bags, sieves, silicone sleeves, pipes and screens.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Science or Engineering.
• Experience in pharma production of oral solid dosage forms (granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation).
• Familiarity with GMP practices and batch manufacturing documentation.
