Associate Producer – Visual Effects

About the role

The Visual Effects Associate Producer in Mumbai will oversee the localized management of VFX projects, ensuring schedules, resources and delivery align with the global production pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage client milestone schedules in collaboration with originating‑site producers and executive producers.
• Coordinate resource allocations and crew planning to meet turnover and delivery targets.
• Work closely with internal production teams (line producers and coordinators) to meet quotas and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor performance, productivity and time‑keeping, and mentor teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Liaise with the Resources team and Heads of Departments to optimise crew utilisation.
• Provide regular written and verbal project health reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in bidding sessions with VFX supervisors, HoDs and leads to assess proposed methodologies.

Required profile

• 12+ years of overall VFX experience.
• Deep understanding of live‑action VFX workflows.
• Credited experience as a VFX Producer or similar role.
• Highly organised with strong time and project management abilities.
• Excellent client and crew management skills.
• Proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and stay calm in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality visual effects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Shotgun/Shot Grid.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace applications.
