Associate Manager – Current Account Acquisition

About the role

The Associate Manager – Current Account Acquisition will work directly with customers to drive new‑to‑bank (NTB) current account openings for a designated branch. The role involves explaining and selling banking products, activating customers on digital channels, and acting as a bridge between clients and the bank to ensure a best‑in‑class experience.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire NTB current‑account customers in the assigned segment and generate references from the catchment area.
• Ensure high‑quality account openings with a balanced product, segment, and constitution mix.
• Register and activate newly acquired customers on direct banking channels.
• Meet and exceed monthly new‑customer acquisition targets by analysing transaction banking needs.
• Support the Sales Manager with catchment mapping, scoping, and regular feedback on opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with internal guidelines, external regulations, and bank SOPs.
• Collaborate with other branch departments to deliver customer‑centric product solutions.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Full‑time availability.
• 0‑4 years of experience, preferably in BFSI sales or retail banking.
• Junior‑level management capability.
