Associate Manager – Acquisition (Current Account)

About the role

The Associate Manager – Acquisition (Current Account) is responsible for attracting new‑to‑bank (NTB) current account customers for a designated branch. The role combines direct customer interaction, needs analysis, and the delivery of tailored banking solutions while supporting the Sales Manager with market mapping and opportunity identification.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire NTB current account customers from the assigned segment and catchment area.
• Ensure high‑quality acquisitions regarding product mix, customer segments, and account composition.
• Register and activate new customers on digital and direct banking channels.
• Meet and exceed monthly acquisition targets by analysing customers’ transaction banking needs.
• Assist the Sales Manager in catchment mapping and business opportunity identification.
• Provide regular feedback on customer needs and market trends to Sales and Relationship Managers.
• Adhere to the bank’s selling norms, SOPs, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain strong market awareness and collaborate with other branch functions to deliver a customer‑centric product suite.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline (full‑time).
• 0–4 years of sales experience, preferably in the BFSI sector.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for service excellence.
• Ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
• High level of integrity and compliance orientation.
• Collaborative attitude and self‑motivation to achieve targets.
• Fluent English with strong business communication skills.
