Associate Internal Auditor – Corporate Audit Staff

About the role

Join NielsenIQ’s fast‑paced Corporate Audit Staff as an Associate Internal Auditor. You will provide independent assurance over the company’s financial reporting across more than 70 countries while developing leadership skills through a structured development program.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, scope, execute and document internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls.
• Identify control deficiencies, inconsistencies, fraud or misconduct and present findings to senior leaders.
• Partner with business units to develop remediation plans and share best practices.
• Provide assurance on compliance with policies, governance frameworks and internal controls.
• Contribute to audit process improvements, including automation of routine tasks.
• Travel domestically and internationally (30‑50% of time) to conduct field work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, auditing or a comparable discipline.
• Strong analytical, investigative and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and cultures.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SAP and OneStream.
• Expert use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the broader Microsoft Suite.
• Experience with data‑analytics and visualization tools such as SAP Business Objects and Tableau.
• Understanding of US GAAP, IIA International Standards, and governance principles.
• CPA or Certified Internal Auditor designation is highly desirable.
