Associate I – Accounting & Reporting

About the role

Alcon is looking for an Associate I (or Associate II) in Record to Report to apply accounting principles, analyse financial information and prepare comprehensive financial reports. The role focuses on fixed‑asset and lease accounting processes while supporting month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Fixed Asset processes, including asset capitalization and creation of asset master records.
• Execute internal order/WBS settlement, depreciation runs and month‑end closure reporting.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliation using Blackline and sub‑ledger reconciliation.
• Handle lease accounting activities and ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide timely customer‑service support and escalate exceptions as needed.
• Collaborate with functional areas to ensure proper accounting, financial reporting and revenue settlement.
• Coordinate with local entities and outsourced teams to deliver seamless services.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries and support knowledge‑transfer initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business.
• 2‑4 years of Record to Report experience in a financial organization or shared‑service environment.
