Associate Financial Reporting – Financial Controller

About the role

PWC is looking for an Associate Financial Reporting professional to join its Financial Controller team in Gurgaon. You will support internal finance functions, including financial planning, reporting, data analysis and strategic advisory to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate Indian management reporting, highlighting trends and qualitative insights.
• Analyse monthly overheads and provide detailed P&L information for business decision‑making.
• Reconcile MIS books with statutory books and ensure accuracy of GL entries.
• Identify and correct booking errors related to cost centres, locations or GL codes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost‑benefit analysis across Lines of Service/Strategic Business Units.
• Monitor key performance indicators and produce trend analysis for budget submissions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams (AP, GL, finance operations) to resolve data issues.
• Experience in preparing management reports and performing variance analysis.
• Good understanding of Indian statutory reporting requirements.
