Associate – Financial Due Diligence (Transaction Services)

About the role

As an Associate in the Financial Due Diligence (FDD) team within PwC's Deals Transaction Services, you will support clients through mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. You will analyse financial information, assess quality of earnings, assets and cash flows, and help shape strategic recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage medium to large‑complexity due‑diligence projects.
• Analyse financial statements, identify purchase price adjustments, working‑capital and debt considerations.
• Prepare and deliver clear written reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure comprehensive commercial, operational and strategic assessment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Indian GAAP and related accounting standards.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen and analytical mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and build internal relationships.
• Audit‑related experience and familiarity with deal‑related issues.

Required skills

• Indian GAAP / Indian Accounting standards
• Advanced Excel proficiency
