Associate Engineer – Advanced Engineering and System Studies

About the role

Airbus India is seeking an Associate Engineer to join its Advanced Engineering and System Studies team. You will develop and validate simulation models that support aircraft system design, testing, and pilot training across multiple programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop behavioral and physical simulation models for various aircraft systems.
• Verify and validate models on target simulation platforms.
• Integrate system models to represent broader aircraft behavior.
• Update models based on change requests and system updates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during verification and validation campaigns.
• Support global system‑simulation initiatives within Airbus.
• Automate analysis workflows for different system models.
• Initiate optimization studies and propose innovative solutions.

Required profile

• B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• General awareness of aircraft systems and strong engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and in multinational teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Programming in C and C++.
• Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink.
• Shell scripting knowledge.
• Experience with real‑time or non‑real‑time simulation software.
• Understanding of control systems and system dynamics.
