Associate Director – Water Pipelines

About the role

Join AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team in Bengaluru as an Associate Director leading water pipeline projects across India and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as lead engineer on mid‑ to large‑size water pipeline projects.
• Provide specialized technical input to studies and design activities.
• Approve and sign off on engineering work and deliverables.
• Present complex technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Perform quality‑control reviews of work produced by others.
• Participate in the development of technical proposals.

Required profile

• 18+ years of engineering experience, preferably on projects in the UK, USA, Canada, MER or ANZ regions.
• Master’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environment or related field.
• Professional qualification such as C.Eng (ICE/IET) or C.CIWEM, or working towards it.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Capability to view projects from a big‑picture perspective and meet tight deadlines.
• High accountability with accurate and precise delivery of assigned work.
