Associate Data Scientist – Advisory (Bangalore)

About the role

Join PwC’s Advisory practice as an Associate Data Scientist in Bengaluru. You will help organisations uncover enterprise insights and drive business results using smarter data analytics, leveraging a mix of business intelligence, data management and data assurance capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build, train and deploy machine‑learning and deep‑learning models using Python on Azure or AWS.
• Develop and expose models through REST‑based APIs.
• Design and maintain data pipelines in distributed computing environments (Hadoop, Elasticsearch) and big‑data stores (SQL, Hive, HBase).
• Analyze datasets with SQL and Pandas, and create visualisations using PowerBI.
• Work with Azure Data Factory, PySpark, Airflow, Docker and Kubernetes to orchestrate workflows.
• Collaborate directly with customers, communicating technical concepts clearly.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience building ML/DL models in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with AzureML or AWS SageMaker.
• Proficiency in cloud‑based deployment and REST API creation.
• Degree such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA or MCA.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
