Associate Category Manager

About the role

MakeMyTrip is seeking an Associate Category Manager to support growth initiatives and performance management for its Domestic Hotels portfolio. The role sits within the Category Management team and works closely with senior stakeholders across supply, revenue, marketing and analytics to drive commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and track end‑to‑end performance of Domestic Hotels for assigned destinations, monitoring metrics such as room nights, GMV, GRASP, visits and conversion.
• Execute projects that improve key input levers including ranking, filters, hyper‑locations, points of interest, city maps, boundaries and overall content quality.
• Apply consumer insights on Indian traveller behavior to identify gaps in location, cuisine, accessibility and related factors.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations, influence cross‑functional stakeholders and ensure seamless execution of multiple initiatives.
• Build, maintain and report on MIS dashboards and business intelligence reports covering performance metrics.

Required profile

• MBA from a reputed institute.
• 1–3 years of experience in category management, marketing or strategy.
• Proven track record in demand generation, funnel optimisation and delivering business outcomes through data‑backed decisions.
