Associate – Cards Business & Operations

About the role

PWC is seeking an Associate to support clients in the cards payments domain. The role focuses on developing new card product propositions, managing end‑to‑end card operations, and driving technology implementations that enable business growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch new card products, including target segmentation, acquisition strategies, loyalty programs, and profitability analysis.
• Manage card portfolio growth, activation, engagement, and cross‑sell initiatives.
• Oversee full‑cycle card operations for credit, debit, or virtual cards, covering pre‑issuance, authorisation, disputes, collections, and settlement.
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and operational requirements.
• Lead UAT, vendor coordination, and automation projects to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide consultancy to banks or FinTechs on product viability, risk assessment, and market expectations.

Required profile

• 2‑8 years of experience in the card payments ecosystem, preferably as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or Product Owner.
• Demonstrated experience in card product development, portfolio management, and operational set‑up.
• Strong understanding of credit underwriting, risk scoring, and fraud monitoring frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end implementations and drive process automation.
