Associate Buyer

About the role

The Associate Buyer supports the procurement function by executing material purchase requests, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, price, delivery schedules and corporate policies. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to secure optimal value for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Execute purchase requests and initiate supply orders in the ERP system.
• Identify, qualify and onboard new suppliers in collaboration with quality and engineering teams.
• Support negotiations, renew price lists and manage contractual terms.
• Analyze bids and provide market insights to bid and proposal teams.
• Track deliveries, verify invoices and monitor supplier performance on quality, lead‑time and cost.
• Maintain supplier data in the Pro‑Supply platform and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Align orders with customer and project requirements, emphasizing sustainability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Basic knowledge of SAP, Ariba and Microsoft Office; JAGGAER experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work night shift (5:30 pm – 2:30 am).
