Associate – Blockchain Digital Integration Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Blockchain Digital Integration Advisory team in Kolkata. In this role you will support clients in designing, building and deploying private and permissioned blockchain solutions that align with their business objectives. You will work across a range of industries, helping organisations improve operational efficiency through innovative blockchain applications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project teams in all phases of blockchain engagements, from requirements gathering to delivery.
• Analyse business objectives and translate them into technical models and smart‑contract logic.
• Set up and configure private/permissioned blockchain networks.
• Develop web‑based and mobile applications that interact with blockchain back‑ends.
• Write RESTful APIs, shell scripts and database schemas to support business processes.
• Implement user authentication and authorization mechanisms for blockchain applications.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex business problems.
• Experience working with enterprise blockchain platforms and developing smart contracts.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Required skills

• Blockchain platforms: Hyperledger Besu, Fabric, Sawtooth, Indy; Ethereum; Multichain; R3 Corda.
• Smart‑contract languages: Solidity.
• Programming languages: Java.NET, Go, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Web technologies: HTML5, CSS.
• API development: REST APIs.
• Scripting: Shell scripting.
• Database design and schema creation.
